To celebrate the festive season of this year, I designed a beginner friendly and quick crochet pattern so most crocheters can work up as a last minute gift. It’s a drawstring hat so you can wear it as a beanie or show off your pony tail/ messy bun.

Even it’s an easy project, this hat is still a mingle and jingle crochet project since it’s made of shimmering yarn and interwoven post stitches.

This is my second crochet design of a wide brimmed hat. ( Check out the first design here: Simple Sun Hat ). It’s made of sport weight yarn and mainly single crochet stitches so this project is quite beginner friendly. However, with unique hexagon shaped brim and a touch of blue whirl texture that created by drop stitches and turquoise yarn, this sun hat would please the picky ones.
